HOW TO DONATE
DONORS PLEASE NOTE:
Southwest German Shepherd Rescue and White German Shepherd Rescue are two separate entities that work together and share this web site in order to ensure that GSDs of all colors are represented. Most of the donation links on the site AND THIS PAGE will direct your donation to SW German Shepherd Rescue, a nonprofit, 501c3 public charity.
White GSD Rescue has specific links for donations, usually on a specific dog's bio page. PayPal responses indicate where your donation is going before completing any transaction...please look at the response to make sure your donation is going where you intended. We are both very grateful for your support.

LOGAN
We wish to express our gratitude to all of Logan's sponsors and his devoted and heartbroken "Mom" Ginger, who helped us to accommodate his needs and provide his long term care
This is how Logan found contentment and securityLOGAN HAD ONE OF THE WORST CASES OF SEPARATION ANXIETY WE'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED. SO MUCH SO THAT WHEN HIS ORIGINAL ADOPTER MOVED FROM A SUBURBAN SCOTTSDALE HOUSE WHERE SHE WORKED FROM HOME, TO AN APARTMENT IN SAN FRANCISCO WHERE SHE LEFT FOR WORK DAILY, LOGAN JUMPED OUT OF A SECOND STORY WINDOW. HE SIMPLY COULD NOT TOLERATE BEING ALONE OR CRATED FOR ANY PERIOD OF TIME.
WE ACCEPTED LOGAN INTO LIFETIME FOSTER CARE SEVERAL YEARS AGO. HE LIVED IN THE ONLY TYPE OF SITUATION WHERE HE WAS ALWAYS SECURE AND HAPPY; AMONG A LARGE AND DIVERSE PACK OF CANINES CARED FOR BY A RETIRED VET TECH WHO STAYED HOME MOST OF THE TIME AND KNEW HOW TO TEND TO HIS MEDICAL NEEDS. AS LONG AS LOGAN HAD HIS PACK, HE SHOWED NO ANXIETY WHATSOEVER. HE HAD HIS VERY OWN BED & SPOT IN HIS FOSTER MOM'S BEDROOM AND HIS PERSONAL PLACE OUTSIDE WHICH ALL OTHER PACK MEMBERS RESPECTED. HE WAS NEVER ALONE.
UNFORTUNATELY LOGAN'S SIGNIFICANT ORTHOPEDIC PROBLEMS CAUSED HIM GREAT PAIN AS HE AGED AND FOR WHICH MEDICATION NO LONGER PROVIDED RELIEF.
LOGAN LEFT FOR THE RAINBOW BRIDGE THIS MORNING, 12/12/12, PAIN AND WORRY FREE WE WILL MISS HIS SWEETNESS AND LOVING PERSONALITY
