He is not aggressive what so ever. Gets along fine with the other dogs, but prefers to be by himself. He does have some scabs on his neck and is tender around the ribs. We're thinking he may have previously been jumped, which may be why he stays away from the other dogs.
He loves to be around people. He likes to follow me around from room to room. He is a curious dog, he likes to be in on whatever we may be doing. He'll pull the dog beds around till he finds that perfect spot. He loves any human contact, especially face rubs. Definitely a people dog
He is house broken, not a single accident. He has some white on his chin. After closer inspection, we're thinking he may be older that what was stated on his paper work. He listens quite well. He doesn't like the name 'Rin Tin Tin much. All in all he is a perfect gentleman.

These two kids were found wandering the streets of Maricopa, AZ. The only place their Good Samaritan finder could keep them was outside in the yard of a vacant home. With temperatures in excess of 110 degrees and given their age and lack of immunity, we had to get them out of there, despite not having any available foster space.
Our good friends at the Humane Society of Southern Arizona are helping to get them adoption exposure. They're being vetted and checked over. They are not in any danger of being euthanized; in the event space becomes an issue, we will find other accommodations for them. Initially and based only on photos, we thought they might be purebred GSD pups. Upon seeing them however, they seem to be GSD mixes of unknown origin. Our Tucson staff thinks possibly Cattle Dog/Heeler.
There's one male and one female approximately 6 months old. They almost look like miniature German Shepherds but will not be nearly as big as a GSD. They are both muscular and hearty.
The male is a real hellion, the female more laid back and less assertive. These two were in survival mode fending for themselves for however long so manners, training, etc., are not their strong suit. It appears that they have never been on leash.
They are both very active, high energy pups that will require a person or family with the time needed to teach them all that they have missed. Please don't even consider them as outside dogs. The male would do best as the only dog for while so that he really tunes into his humans.
Focus and training will progress much better without another dog in the home for a while.
Hans is the bully and his sister got the brunt of his dominance so they are now separated, learning to be around other dogs. We STRONGLY suggest that they NOT be adopted together.
They will soon be available for adoption directly through HSSA in Tucson, or if they are not adopted, we will take them into our program provided we can find a spot for them. We will update info as it becomes available.
Go see and check them out..they desperately need a REAL, FOREVER HOME.

Precious was abandoned at Pete and Mac’s in Gilbert (pet resort and doggie day care). Her previous owner told Pete and Mac’s management that he had taken Precious from a drug addict who was abusive. Precious is a very sweet girl! She is afraid of hoses and generally doesn’t care for water, but she loves everyone that she meets. The staff at Pete and Mac’s have been taking great care of her – showering her with affection, lots of games of fetch (one of her favorite games). Precious is thought to be about 5 years old. Pearl is a high energy girl who likes other dogs but plays a little too roughly for small dogs. She would do beautifully in a home with another active dog her own size.
