Our facebook angel, Kathy J, received an email, asking for help, "Hi Kathy, we have a young, beautiful white shepherd in need at VVAPL Humane Society. Paloma was turned in because owners had too many animals. She is around 2 years old and dog friendly. They said kid friendly with older kids just because she can knock down smaller kids while playing. Looks like she's had puppies not too long ago. Here are a couple of pics."

We are literally drowning in dogs right now, but when a shelter reaches out to us for help, we know there has to be something special about the dog they are asking for help with, and we just don't like to say no in circumstances like this. And so we said yes. Paloma will be spayed and updated on shots at the shelter. In the meantime, we will arrange for her to be picked up and transported to Crossroads to await transport to Phoenix in search of her forever home.
