|With the Coronavirus threat now affecting every aspect of our daily lives, the CA shelters are pretty much closed to public, and are by appointment only for adoptions/rescues. The shelter dogs didn't stand a chance as people worried about their own lives in the midst of the pandemic. But, in hopes of saving just one life, a shelter worker reached out to us with information, pictures and video on this sweet girl.
Once we saw the pictures and videos, we named her "Josette" (after the shelter worker who had brought her to our attention and went the extra mile to take the pictures and vidoes for us) and agreed to take her. Our transporter, Tera, was on the road to the shelter first thing Monday morning, and by that afternoon our latest rescue furkid was safely tucked away at Crossroads where she will remain awaiting transport to Phoenix.
Adoption fee to be determined.
