German Shepherd at death's door pulled from Yuma canal
ADOPTED!!

| PROUD MOM--HAPPY DOG!
|
| Heart had his sutures removed and got his Rabies shot today which closes the book on his medical needs!
Hip Hip Hooray!! We are very grateful to all who so generously helped us fill those needs and wish to extend
our sincere GRATITUDE to his entire support network.
Heart's very loving and committed Mom Tracy wanted a significant day to remember, so on paper,
he became a member of the Barney family on February 14th...Valentine's (aka Heart) Day.
He was not officially "turned over" to his new family however, until his last stitch was removed, we vaccinated him and he was declared Good to Go...JUST TODAY!
THE FINAL ASSAULT & VERY LAST SUTURE!

Heart's care is now his owner's responsibility; however, we're still trying to cover the remaining $1,575.00* deficit on his account.
Help toward that end will enable us to be there for the next "Heart" and is so very much appreciated.

SEE HEART & OUR VERY OWN NANCY SWANNER ON TV...
This morning our rescue partner Nancy, was presented with the
Qwest Something Good "SPIRIT AWARD" by KTVK CHANNEL 3, and Heart & his Mom were on hand for the honors.
We finally received the donation generously provided by KTVK & QWest and earmarked by Nancy for her favorite charity; SWGSR & HEART'S FUND. Our remaining deficit has now been reduced to $1,100.00, for which we are very grateful.
