|Cynthia (named after the wonderful person at the shelter who reached out to us on her behalf) was turned in to an Arizona shelter as a stray by a good Samaritan in mid-March. She was described as, "...very friendly, people social. The finder stated she did well with their resident cat, has not been around dogs. She was tested with another dog while at the shelter and did very well.
We waited out her stray hold in hopes that her family would find her ... but it was not to be. When she became available for adoption, our volunteer, Sara, went to meet her.
What Sara found was a sweet girl who had no problems coming right up to meet her and get some love and attention. We're guessing she is a youngster (under 2 years of age) and in good physical condition.
Cynthia will be transported to Phoenix on Thursday (3/26). She is newly spayed, up-to-date on shots and microchipped. We'd sure love to have a foster or foster-to-adopt home waiting for her. Anyone?
UPDATE 3/26: Cyndi has arrived in Phoenix! Thanks to one of our staff members and volunteers Sara (Tucson) and Janice (Phoenix), Cyndi was transported to Phoenix this afternoon.
Cyndi is a very sweet, outgoing gal who doesn't seem to have issues meeting anyone. She has NO leash training whatsoever, but is happy to follow where you are going (for the most part). She's probably younger than the 2 years stated by the shelter, judging by the condition of her teeth. She was hesitant to cross the threshhold in her temporary foster home, but had no problems at all with the tile or stone floors.
Cyndi is spayed, up-to-date on shots, microchipped and ready for the rest of her life.
UPDATE 4/6: We took Cyndi over to Doggie District this afternoon to meet some new friends and have fun!
Adoption fee $295.00.
