|We were notified that Carlo
had come in to the same shelter at the same time as we were making arrangements to pull Paloma. From Susanne at the shelter, |
." Susanne asked if we could take him, too. We asked for and received the following video from the shelter:
Before we could say yes or no on taking Carlo, he was adopted! We hoped for the best for him and completed our arrangements for Paloma
UPDATE 10/2: We were notified this morning that Carlo was returned to the shelter because (are you ready?), "He refused to stay outside." So, in other words, because Carlo wanted to be in the home near his family, and this wasn't what the adopters wanted, they discarded him. We can only hope the shelter did not allow them to adopt another dog that they could make stay outdoors for the rest of its life.
With literally not a square inch of space for him, we had to agree to take Carlo as the shelter was full and they needed space. We seemed to be his last hope.
UPDATE 10/4: Thanks to our wonderful transporter, Tera, Carlo is safely at Crossroads this afternoon. According to Cathleen at Crossroads, "He's young and very lovable. Loves kids."
Carlo will be coming to Phoenix on the 19th with the 4 girls. If you have room in your heart and home for this lovable boy, please let us know. He'd love to meet you. Carlo is neutered, up-to-date on shots and will be microchipped prior to adoption.
Adoption fee $385.00.
